Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day Mom

She is the first to offer you unconditional love, the first to feed you, the first to change you. She will be there for your first word; first crawl; first step. She will hold your hand as you walk into school for the first time; set up play dates with new friends; read with you; pray with you. She will teach you how to cook, clean and organize. She will teach you your manners, remind you to write thank you cards and stay up all night to finish those left-to-the-last-minute projects with you. She will proofread your high school assignments, shed tears as you walk down the aisle, and hold your hand through all of life’s ups and downs. She is your Mom.

She acts, as nothing is ever wrong, shows only happiness and love when you are with her. Provides for you, fulfills dreams to the best of her ability. And when times are rough she doesn’t ever make you feel less important then you are. She is your Mom.

She prays for your health, prosperity and happiness every day. She knows when we need her and she knows when to let you make our own decisions. She warns you when you are about to make uninformed choices and she hugs you when you realize the mistakes you’ve made. Then She helps you pick up the pieces. She is your Mom.

A Mother is not easily replaced; she is a one of a kind treasure. A Mom is a cherished ‘Jem’ who may not always feel the love, but needs to know how much she is loved. Thank you Mom! I love you and am so very Blessed to have you in my children’s life and mine. Your exuberance energizes me; your knowledge leaves me in awe. You are my role model in more ways then words can even explain. Happy Mother’s Day.

Proverbs 31:26-31 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a women that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
