Keagan’s Escapades … on unexpected blessings!
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] good, and acceptable, and [the] perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)
My Grammy raises chickens. But she has this one baby chickie that has experienced a series of problems. She walks backwards. She got stuck in a picket fence and broke its wing trying to get free. Even her legs twisted because of bad nutrition in early life.
Today, that same baby chicken is walking forward. Since her first encounter with the fence, she hasn’t gotten stuck in anything. In fact, when one sees her today, she is as healthy as can be.
At the same time, two of Grammy’s healthiest chickens died of a heart attack. And yet, the chicken who should have died before the others is living healthier and stronger than the rest!
This blog is written to symbolize that even in the worst of cases, life can turn out better than we expect (just like the chicken did) 🙂
