As I was going about getting ready for the holidays, I was constantly thinking of how life has changed from the time I was young. Some of the changes have been remarkably positive. Technology, for instance, has opened up a whole new world for us. Indeed, technology has bridged the distance between people, bringing them closer to one another. We have been instructed by the Good Book to “behold the Lord God” because “He will feed His flock like a Shepherd. He shall gather the lambs in His arms, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” (Isaiah 40:10-11)
Because of my faith, I am very big on kindness and consideration. I have found that when you express these emotions, not only does the recipient feel uplifted but so will you. We as Christians know how to follow this advice and from my observation, we are doing very well.
I had the opportunity to spend some time with Christian friends during the holidays and it was extremely uplifting for my soul to be with these people. I sincerely hope that you also had the chance to enjoy family and /or friends during this joyous season. I also hope that you can carry the good feelings you felt during the Christmas season well into the New Year so that everyone will benefit, and come to know the truth.
As the Holy Spirit moves within you, I hope that you will let His love shine through a kind word or through a kind act to others. May God bless you and keep you well.
